Data Security

Protecting your information and your financial accounts is a priority.

We utilize a variety of security measures to ensure your information remains safe and secure.

Our approach combines technology, people, and processes to:

  • Safeguard your personal information
  • Anticipate and defend against threats
  • Secure your account against unauthorized access

Multifactor Authentication

Multifactor authentication is a security technology that requires multiple methods of authentication from different types of credentials to verify a person's identity.

When signing into MyCPG Accounts or CPG benefits management systems you’ll be asked for your password as usual. Then you will be prompted to input an authorization code that we send you by text or a phone call. This additional step provides an extra layer of protection for your account. In some circumstances, security questions or other authentication methods may also be employed.

Stronger Passwords

Criminals armed with sophisticated technology are constantly trying to steal passwords. That’s why we require a 16-character “passphrase” when you change your password or create a new account. This unique, sentence-like string of words or characters is easy to remember and difficult to crack, providing a strong defense against identity theft and other forms of financial fraud.
