Their depth of knowledge has benefited CPF over the years as we continue to focus on the long term and meeting the pension and benefit needs of those who serve The Episcopal Church.
Michael Hood
Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and Managing Director
Mr. Hood is Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and Managing Director. He is responsible for overseeing the investment programs for The Church Pension Fund, The Church Insurance Companies, Church Life Insurance Corporation, and related entities. He joined CPG in 2023.
He formerly served as Managing Director in JPMorgan Asset Management’s Multi-Asset Solutions division where he helped oversee diverse portfolios totaling $350 billion.
Prior to this, he was Chief Economist at Traxis Partners, where he analyzed economies and markets in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He also held positions with Barclays Capital, where he served as economist and market strategist for Latin America and global emerging markets; JPMorgan and JPMorgan Chase, where he served as economist for Latin America; and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he served as an economist developing risk studies.
He received an MPA in International Relations from Princeton University and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Carleton College where he graduated magna cum laude in Economics.
John R. Angelica
Managing Director, Fixed Income
John R. Angelica serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for managing the fixed-income investment portfolio for CPF, as well as the investments of CPF’s insurance affiliates. He joined CPF in 2012.
Prior to joining CPF, John worked in Securitized Products Sales and Trading at J.P. Morgan Securities, and held trading and portfolio management positions at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc., and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
John earned a BA in Economics from Boston College and an MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University.
Sharon Chiu
Managing Director, Asia Investments
Sharon Chiu is Managing Director, Asia Investments, of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). Based in Hong Kong, Sharon is responsible for CPF’s investments in Asia including private equity, real estate, and public strategies. She joined CPF in 2013.
Sharon previously served as a Senior Analyst at Morgan Stanley and an Analyst at Lehman Brothers.
Sharon holds a bachelor’s degree from The Stern School of Business at New York University. She is a member of the Hong Kong Venture Capital Association and the Urban Land Institute.
Brian Jandrucko
Managing Director, Global Public Equity and Hedge Funds
Brian Jandrucko serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for managing the global public equity and hedge fund portfolio for CPF. He joined CPF in 2009.
Prior to CPF, Brian served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Manchester Capital. Before this, he served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
Brian received a BA in Philosophy and Communications from Fordham University and an MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
Rhonda S. Kershner
Managing Director, Risk Management, Asset Allocation, Transition Management, and Performance Measurement
Rhonda Kershner serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). She is responsible for risk management, asset allocation, transition management, and performance measurement of CPF’s investment portfolio. She joined CPF in 2005.
Prior to CPF, Rhonda served as a Vice President in various portfolio manager and trading roles at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc.
Rhonda received a BA in Mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
Eric R. Mason
Managing Director, Global Private Equity
Eric Mason serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). Based in New York, he is responsible for managing the global private equity portfolio for CPF. He also has oversight of CPF’s investments in Asia, having opened the Hong Kong office when he joined CPF in 2009.
Prior to CPF, Eric served as Fund Head for the Carlyle Asia Leveraged Finance Fund, and before that he was Regional Head of Leveraged Finance for J.P. Morgan in Asia, where he worked for more than 12 years.
Eric received a BA in Economics from the University of Delaware and an MPA/MIA from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University, where he earned a Dean’s List scholarship. Eric speaks Mandarin.
Sajith Ranasinghe
Managing Director, Global Real Estate
Sajith Ranasinghe is Managing Director, Global Real Estate, of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). His primary responsibility is oversight of the global real estate investment portfolio. He joined CPF in 2007. During his tenure, he spent two years in CPF’s Hong Kong office.
Prior to CPF, Sajith held several positions of increasing responsibility at Cambridge Associates, where he focused on hard asset investments and fund manager research.
Sajith received a BS in Finance, magna cum laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Christopher Rowe
Managing Director, Investments
Christopher Rowe is a Managing Director of CPG. He is responsible for leading CPG’s socially responsible investment engagement strategy and outreach initiatives. He works to build relationships with companies in which CPG invests, peer organizations, The Episcopal Church, and other stakeholders with similar values. Additionally, he works on behalf of the Chief Investment Officer to oversee various aspects of administration for the Investments Department, including communications and compliance.
Prior to CPG, Christopher was Chief of Staff to the CEO of PGIM, Prudential Financial’s asset management business, where he was responsible for wide-ranging activities including business administration, external relations, and sustainability. Earlier in his career, he worked directly with institutions and faith-based investors on strategies for integrating values with investments.
He received a BA in Economics from Haverford College and an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Alan Snoddy
Managing Director, Private Investments
Alan Snoddy is Managing Director, Private Investments, of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He has oversight of all private investment strategies including private equity, real estate, and private specialty strategies. Alan established the Socially Responsible Investing effort in 2000, and co-leads the strategy, focusing on impact investing. He joined CPF in 1996.
Prior to CPF, he served as an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein, Inc.
Alan received a BA from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Fordham University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Mark Valery
Managing Director, Private Equity
Mark Valery serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). He is responsible for managing private equity investments at CPF.
Before joining CPF in 2011, Mark was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs with a focus on private equity.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University.
June Yearwood
Managing Director, Head of Private Specialty Strategies
June Yearwood serves as Managing Director of The Church Pension Fund (CPF). In addition to leading Private Specialty Strategies, she also focuses on private equity and real estate investments. She joined CPF in 2006.
Prior to CPF, she served as Vice President, Finance and Administration of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Before this, she served as Investment Director for the Foundation.
June received a BA in History from Yale University and an MBA from The Stanford Graduate School of Business.
