Important Information for Victims

Our thoughts and prayers are with our members impacted by natural disasters and other traumatic events.

For healthcare issues, including continuity of care questions or lost medical ID cards, contact your provider or network.

EAP Disaster & Traumatic Events Resources

Educational tools can be found on Cigna's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Disaster Resource Center.  You will have access to disaster-related handouts, along with links to community resources for recovery. No Employer ID is required.

Employees and their household members can call your company’s dedicated EAP toll-free number (see below) or call EAP – National Care Center at (800) 554-6931 for support. Cigna provides helpful ideas on physical, mental, and emotional self-care during turbulent times.

Anthem LiveHealth Online

LiveHealth Online is a convenient tool to access quality medical care for common health conditions such as colds, cuts, bruises, sprains or strains, and other non-emergency issues. Prescriptions and/or prescription refills can be provided by board-certified doctors if needed.

To receive this benefit:

Members who need additional support should call the Member Services number on their ID card.

EyeMed

If you’ve lost, broken or damaged your eyewear due to the recent natural disaster, EyeMed Vision Care can help through their EyeMed Cares program.

Health Advocate Resources

Health Advocate's experts are here to help you.

  • Locate network providers in a new area
  • Find facilities that will be able to provide temporary assistance
  • Transfer medical records and prescriptions
  • Help get a short supply of medications if prescriptions have been lost
  • Coordinate care between insurance company and medical providers
  • Answer benefit and treatment questions
  • Help with elderly parents
